Founded in March 1998 as a brokerage agency in the rawhide market, QUID later expanded into wet blue and crust leather. Owner Riccardo Masiero guarantees a personal and professional service, maximum transparency, and superior quality results.

The name Quid comes from the Latin phrase “Ne quid nimis”, literally “too much of nothing”, meaning “one must not exaggerate in anything”.
NIMIS is the name of the company owned by Riccardo’s father, engineer Gianfranco, and his partner Maurizio. This company specializes in finished leather, and Riccardo is actively involved in the business.

QUID has a structure sourcing leather from the Baltic Republics, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Poland.
The skins are in raw, wet blue and crust.
